Chef Dilkumari


Chef Hira comes from a small village in Nepal. She has been cooking for the last 20 years and has an intricate knowledge of spices and sauces. She believes high quality ingredients lead to great tasting food. She grinds her own spices to get the exact flavor desired. Cooking is her passion and believes in taking the time to prepare the food the right way.  No short cut is worth taking if it changes the taste of the dish. Her cooking style is a combination of Indian and Nepali. You also see some hints of Chinese influence as is common in that part of the Himalayas.

A mother of 3 young children, she is always searching for recipes and ways to get children to eat healthier. A strong believer in families sitting together and sharing the same food – her menu is enjoyed by adults and kids alike.
